The Country Roads Band Country Music Show Country Roads Band Featuring Nancy and Tammy Dail: "Unbelievably talented vocalists", "Wonderful Showmanship", "Great Variety", "Strong Band". This is what you can expect from the Country Roads Band. The Country Roads Band presents professional performances that have made them favorites for festivals, clubs, convention centers, country clubs, Elk's and Moose Lodges and special events. The group features exceptional vocals by the mother/daughter duo of Nancy and Tammy Dail, and male vocalist, Ronnie King. The group's music features traditional and modern country hits (from "I Fall to Pieces" and "Stand by Your Man" to "This One's for the Girls" and the "Picture") along with a generous mixture of old time rock and roll standards ("Old Time Rock and Roll" to "Rocking Pneumonia" and "When Will I be Loved"), a dash of beach music ("Under the Boardwalk" to "Save the Last Dance for Me\") and all-time favorites ("Only You", "The Rose" and "Unchained Melody"). Nancy and Tammy Dail deliver strong vocals and front the band with showmanship that is professional and up tempo. Experienced, studio-quality musicians create the music to complete the unique sound and style of the Country Roads Band. Ronnie King, (dubbed "King of Country Roads" and lead guitarist) provides male lead and backup vocals; Glenn Speight, plays his bass like he was "born playing it" and also adds backup vocals; "Awsome Ken Dawson" lives up to his name on drums; John Akerman is widely known for his "nimble" keyboard-playing style; and Bowie Martin's wailing pedal steel guitar playing is flawless. The band has performed recently at the following venues: Nashville, NC Blooming Festival, New South Club (La Grange, NC), Spring Hope Pumpkin Fesitval, Bill Ellis Convention Center (Wilson, NC), Kinston Singles Club, Wilson Singles Club, Dunes Club (Atlantic Beach), Wilson Elks Lodge, Wilson Country Club and numerous private functions and events.
